Daniel B. Short is the sitting State Representative for District 39 in the Delaware General Assembly.
Daniel B. Short owns Short Insurance Associates and is a life member of the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department, where he served as fire chief. He was a Seaford city councilman from 1995 and then mayor until 2006, has represented District 39 since 2006, and served as House Minority Leader from 2012 to 2022.
