U.S. House, Louisiana District 5

9 candidates, listed alphabetically.

Louisiana: after the U.S. Supreme Court's April 2026 decision in Louisiana v. Callais and a new congressional map (signed May 29, 2026), the 2026 U.S. House party primaries were cancelled. All House candidates, regardless of party, run together on November 3 (a 'jungle' primary). A candidate who wins a majority is elected; otherwise the top two meet in a December 12, 2026 runoff.
