I-194 (Ballot Issue #10): powers of artificial persons and election spending

Would limit the powers of 'artificial persons' (such as corporations, nonprofits, trusts and associations doing business in Montana) so they exclude contributing to candidate elections, supporting or opposing parties, or supporting or opposing ballot issues, with loss of business privileges for violations. News and editorial content, government bodies, individuals and political committees are excluded.

What a vote means

A yes vote
The limits on spending by artificial persons described in the subject statement would become law.
A no vote
Current law stays as it is now.
