Trey Wharton is the sitting State Representative for District 12 in the Texas Legislature, a district that includes all or part of Brazos, Grimes, Madison, Robertson, Walker and Washington counties.
Trey Wharton began his career in banking and founded the Wharton Insurance Network in Huntsville in 1991. He served eight years on the Huntsville ISD board, including three as president, and chaired the Huntsville-Walker County Chamber of Commerce before joining the Texas House in the 89th Legislature.
