Katrina Pierson worked in health care, was a Tea Party organizer from 2009, and served as national spokesperson for Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and senior advisor in 2020. She was a visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation in 2021 and founded a public affairs and crisis consulting firm before joining the Texas House.
