Armando Mando Martinez is the sitting State Representative for District 39 in the Texas Legislature, a district that includes all or part of Hidalgo County.
Armando "Mando" Martinez joined the Weslaco Fire Department as a firefighter and paramedic in 1998 and became a critical care flight paramedic with Valley Aircare in 2000. He was first elected to the Texas House in 2004 and serves on the Transportation and Culture, Recreation & Tourism committees.
