Tony Niemiec graduated from Green River High School in 1987, served in the Marine Corps, and spent more than 22 years with the Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office, including as bomb squad commander. He previously represented House District 60, serving on the Judiciary and Transportation committees, and has chaired the Sweetwater County Republican Party since 2025.
