Taft Love has served as State Senator for District 6 in the Wyoming Legislature since 2025.
Taft Love studied at Laramie County Community College and the University of Wyoming and worked as a biologist for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department before becoming a rancher and business owner. He served on the Laramie County School District 2 board from 2014 and as chairman of the Laramie County Republican Party, and was appointed to Senate District 6 in September 2025 after the seat was vacated.
