What these offices actually do

A ballot line says "County Auditor" and stops there. These 31 pages say what the job is under the Indiana Code, how long the term runs, what it pays and who sets that, who the officeholder answers to, what they decide, and what is worth asking someone standing for it. They are written about the office, not about anyone holding it, and they stay useful after the election.
